Hello to everyone!!!

It is now October and what a busy few months I've had. Sadly, my uncle Keith died suddenly at the end of July. He was only 42 years old and I will miss him so much. My prayers are with his wife, Mitzi, and his two children, Jason and Jodi, as well as with my mom and her sisters. Keith's death was such a shock to us all and it really made me start to think about the shortness and uncertainty of this earthly life. I really feel a burden to make sure that I am constantly witnessing and sharing the good news of the salvation of Jesus Christ. You never know how long a person's earthly journey will last and then they step into eternity. Please make sure that you mention Jesus to each soul that you come in contact with before it's too late.

In August, my daughter started her HIGH SCHOOL era. I had so many mixed emotions. So proud to see her developing into such a strong young lady of God and maturing into a responsible and contributing citizen of society yet so sad to see her grow in independence as she is preparing to step out of the nest in a few years. My prayer is that God continues to guide her and anoint her life!!!

In September I was blessed to be a part of a 911 Memorial here in my hometown of Princeton, WV. A mass choir was assembled and the East River Mountain Town Band joined in as we remembered those who so tragically lost their lives on that day 10 years ago. We also honored our local firefighters, EMT workers, first responders, police departments and other community service workers for their time and dedication in keeping us safe. It was a beautiful ceremony and my daughter and I both were honored to be a part of it.

Also in September I was able to attend the National Quartet Convention. What a wonderful time that was. I met so many wonderful new friends and was able to connect with some old ones. I even had the opportunity to sing in the Regional Artist Showcase on Tuesday. That was such a special time for me as I was able to share in the excitement with other artists and worship with some awesome fellow Christians.

AND...MY NEW SINGLE HAS BEEN RELEASED. Be sure to call your local radio stations and request my latest single, God's Voice. I am so excited as I am also the writer of this song. God is so awesome and I bless His Holy Name forever and ever.
